Insignia in silver gilt with blue and white enamels, mounted to a five pointed silver star base, the arms are faceted and finished with ball finials, five rays emanating between each arm, maker marked ""FERNAND HEREMANS 9, RUE DE LA RUCHE BRUXELLES SCHAERBEEK"" and marked ""FABRICANT D'ORDRES FOURNISSEUR DU GOUVERNEMENT"" (Manufacturer and Supplier of Orders to the Government) on the reverse cartouche,
