Constructed of olive drab painted magnetic metal, the obverse bearing a central raised Heer style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, within a ribbed ring bearing an inscription of GOTT MIT UNS (GOD WITH US) and oak leaf branches, the reverse with a loop and swivel attachment claws, the latter retaining a period original brown leather strap embossed with a makers mark of C.
