Saxe-Coburg And Gotha, Duchy. A Duke Carl Eduard Medal, By Max Von Kawaczynski, C.1910 Auction Archive at the age of 18(Herzog Carl Eduard Medaille). Instituted 6 August 1906 by Carl Eduard. (1906 1911 issue). Constructed of silver, the obverse consisting of a rightward facing profile of Carl Eduard circumscribed by name and title, the reverse with a central coat of arms of Saxe Coburg and Gotha, flanked by lions rampant, topped by a royal crown and an inscription of FUER VERDIENST (FOR MERIT), above an inscription of TREU UND BESTNDIG (LOYAL AND STEADY), measuring
