A cross patte of multi piece construction with a silver frame (marked 800 on the reverse) and a blackened non magnetic core; the obverse with a raised central oak branch consisting of three leaves, with the re institution date 1939 in raised numbering on the lower arm; the reverse dated 1813 on the six oclock arm; suspended from a double looped broad ring for suspension; with a shortened period
