Hand Painted English Victorian Tile of a Dragonfly, Framed. Gertrude Barrer-Russell meant to be mortared intoThis antique tile was hand painted on a Maw blank and displays a dragonfly on a branch with rose hips. The tile measures 6" square. The back has an embossed mark for Maw. Roughness around the edges is masked by a wooden gesso frame with a gold finish. Framed it measures 8 1 4" square. A couple of flakes to the gesso finish of the frame.
