Mid Century Modern Tile Panel Portrait of a Young Man Grueby Never installedA portrait of a young man is rendered in impasto glazes onto a panel of four 4 inch tiles surrounded by a wooden frame then face mounted onto a raw brown linen mat and a painted frame. High quality workmanship and artistry but is unsigned. Definitely 1950 60 period. Found in Massachusetts. Total dimensions 24 1 2" x 8 1 2". A favorite of mine. Excellent original condition. Ready to hang in that Mid Century Modern home.
