In itself, 'Flowering Plants from Cuban Gardens' is full of nice botanical plates and information about tropical plants. The amazing thing, though is that it was part of the collection of a former British Ambassador to Cuba, who obviously was very interested in the local flora. They photographed examples of specimen, which are included in the book, as well as hand written notes. There is also a lovely inscription in the cover
