The Quaderna range was designed by Superstudio for Zanotta in 1971 and is considered by critics as one of the clearest expressions of the theories of the 'Radical design' movement which was born in Italy in the late '60s. Starting from an extremely critical position in regards to the Modern movement, the Superstudio group theorised the necessity to adopt a new attitude towards projects not only in a
