Whittleton Arch - Natural Bridge State Park, Kentucky Animals & Insects I started this painting enWhittleton Arch is nestled within the Daniel Boone National Forest's Natural Bridge State Park. The 2 mile Whittleton Arch trail takes you past lush trees, creeks, ferns and foliage and interesting rock formations. At the end of the trail is the massive arch framed in a mossy amphitheater. It is a shaded part of the gorge that makes this hike quite beautiful, especially after rain when water cascades over the arch. The angle of the arch was inspired
