Nandi, the sacred bull, is the devoted mount and gatekeeper of Lord Shiva one of the principal deities of the Hindu pantheon. Carvings of Nandi have long been revered in Indian culture as symbols of strength, devotion and protection. Hand carved from teak and retaining traces of its original red and black pigment, this figure has a timeworn patina
