These are attached to a  base that can be placed anywhere within a reef

Cerith Snail - Cerithium atratum Quantity Lot:12 48 Nerite Snail and 200Cerith Snails do a wonderful job of controlling a variety of algae, most notably the red slime algae that forms along the base of glass reef aquariums. The species that we favor is C. atratum. These are not found within tidepools but rather in areas of fish activity. These are among the hardiest and most sustainable of anything that we offer. Size varies from about 1 to 2 inches in length.
