Gore Hall, Harvard University Size:11x14 Featuring the title "A MapGore Hall was the first dedicated library building on Harvard's campus in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Gore Hall was built in 1839, and this historic photograph of the building was captured near the end of the century, between 1890 and 1899, with a glass negative. In 1913, Gore Hall was demolished to make way for the construction of Widener Library. Our team has digitally restored this vintage photograph, helping to preserve the history of this building,
