Yellow Sgraffito Carved Bowl soup bowls and giving the railings aThis bowl was thrown on the pottery wheel, then decorated with a yellow underglaze. When it was dry enough to handle, the design was carved by hand using the sgraffito technique revealing the contrasting clay underneath. It was then fired in the kiln at 2170F.
