Birch Mahogany 7x14-Black Glass Scymtek Features our 1/8" Thick (3mm)4 plies of Mahogany and 4 plies of Birch, VTL Vintage Tube Lugs, Double 45 Degree Bearing Edges, and Hyper Sensitive Snare Bed. Black Glass Finish with Candy Red Hardware. Mahogany is a hard wood. Medium heavy with fine texture and wavy grain. Good attack, a well defined note, and very rich in low frequencies. Vibrant and resonant with lots of harmonics and slightly reduced highs. Mahogany produces a lower fundamental note than maple. Birch Medium
