These rubber bands have been manufactured to fit into each of the insert grooved lines. Once fitted, the insert is practically fixed to the rim. In this way, the insert is prevented from moving in lateral grips, improving stability in fast corners. It also prevents the insert from centrifuging and thus helps the tire centrifuge less.
