Salter & Grandson clam shell block leather reel case made in Bidford on Avon, England which is located on the fabled Avon River. This case uses the same thickness of leather and design as famed leather product maker Arne Mason. Arne's clam shell cases sell for $250+. This is very well constructed and sold here at a very reasonable price because there is no maker's mark. Appears to be made for
